Just a quick question about inferno. Is the damage bug still around? The damage listed ingame is quite good.

Last I recall, the bug is that Inferno should do 1/3 listed damage. Currently my Blazer's Inferno seems to be doing close to it's listed damage (50k-80k) (varies a lot so hard to tell). Whenever I make a Blazer, I prefer to use Inferno as an alternative, since it can be directed at anything (FWall has targeting issues, and Blaze can only be where you can run) and doesn't cost a rediculous amount of mana like FWall. The only drawback of Inferno is that you can't move while you attack.

Assuming you're mainly using Blaze, then you'll only be using Inferno about 5% of the time.

Inferno and arctic blast seem to have a bug with how dmg/frames count. Both do only a fraction of their listed damage. It may be that timer till next dmg thing that someone posted about last week.

The annoying thing is that their are frozen creepers in Ancients Way that use arctic blast and when 5 or 6 of those streams hit you the damage is brutal even with max res and a raven frost for absorb.

Also, in the swampy pit is a shaman boss that has like a 40' inferno and that does some serious damage too.

Moving targets can be Blazed :D
Inferno is mainly used when you've got a noob party, or you'd like to kill those serpents that hide in the river, or that flying critter camping on the bottomless pit. As I mentioned above, it's used about 5% of the time.
