what are the rune drops rates. like zod 1/1000?

also what are max nm and hell forge runes. and what kinda runes could u expect from countess hell? who else is relitivly easy to run for runes?

i did my hellforg [hell] and got a jah FYI

coutness did a few times got nef eld crap lol. Hell Nihl will drop two high runes ist+ each time plus a uber gem and decent chance at a lvl90+ item

hmm. ok. but my general question was like farming bloody foothills like i do because i dont have my team together in a5 hell, lets say out of 10 bloody runs 100 runes drop. is there a way to figure a number a say ber would drop? like .5 of 100 runes in 10 runes. am i making sence? lol


Next question would be who would be what is the best for running hell nith? all i got at the moment is a ww baba/ psn dru/ summons nec in a5 and i feel for a solo game all would be a gray name on ladder.

Best bet honestly is a party. Since 2 runes always drop, it is pretty easy to split the loot with you and a friend. I used to alternate high/low with the people I ran with (example - if you got the high rune this time, next time you get the low rune no matter what it is).

There are a lot of psn immunes down there, so even the might overpowered psn java will have a tricky time. It is doable with her probably though.

thanks guys.

last question... im hearing more in game = more drops.(runes) well the question is like what % increase is the spawning? 1 person lets say is 0% 2 = 10%?increase 5 = 60% increase? something along those lines is what im wondering for loading games when i do bloody

If more players are in the same area, then monsters are more likely to drop an item. The details are available from Arreat Summit.

Loading chars and camping them in town only gets you half the effect compared to if you camped them in the killing-area. The improvements in the chances that monsters drop something might not be worth the extra HP monsters get, unless you're clearing with an excellent trash-clearing build, but they are noticeable improvements.

best bet, run nihla with your rabies druid. Switch to bear form in that area and spamshockwave to stun everything and let the merc kill the trash., its worth carrying a holy weapon on switch to clear the route.

Once you get down to him clear each side with the same strategy (wolf spam + shockwave and merc. Then kill him from a safe distance. 10-15 mins a run in relative safety plus a guaranteed high rune + uber gem (not completely guarnteed on the rune but it will average out to 1 per run over 10 runs. + many shit hot items during those runs.

otherwise, run ancs way + citadel and the vaults.

hmm. over ten mins a run. Why the shockwave? alot of chargers? and would you reccomend bear form even for attacking nil? i'll probably run a few nightmare ones to see how it is and get my tactics down. still havent really tried to go passed first wp in a5.


what kind of dmg could i expect if i take one of his ce? % wise.

well 95% of the stuff down there is poison immune so its easier tojust shockwave and let the merc kill the trash. I'd switch to wolf once the area is clear.

his ce will take maybe 10-15% of your hp

i did 1 windy/1 psn combo for rune runs. worked really well and last season we were doing nili runs in as low as 6 mins :shock:

we did the same rune alternating distribution that someone above me was talking about. plus its more fun to run with somoene than to solo it :)
