Would the +20 to armegeddan benefit fireclaws? Was told its the best fireclaw druid weapon, trying to look at it from all aspects. |

if the item/runeword adds a skill to the same class, it will only give at max 3 skills. |

firstly, you wont get a skill synergy from soft points. that is: say your fireclaw has 50% synergy from geddon, and you have an item with +100to armegeddon, your fireclaw skill will do exactly the same damage as before. secondly, an oskill is an item that gives a class skill but doesnt have a class requirement to it like geddon for instance. when a person uses an oskill on a character that normaly gets that skill. its capped at +3 like the other guy said. thirdly, whoever said thats the best fireclaw weapon...they either lied or dont know how to build one. |

it is more important that +skills it is more important than -resist it is more important than damage it is more important than skill damage it is speed. bearform skills need speed more than anything and the only way to get speed on those skills is when its on the weapon. |

Not really true. This statement is pertinent to wolf form, not bear form. Off weapon IAS does help bears (at least in vanilla it was totally necessary if you wanted the fastest attack speeds). |

It would have to add a LOT of damage to compensate for the large IAS loss. Even in a Champion Axe [-10] you are going to max out at 6 frames while using an Armageddon runeword (4.17 attacks per second). In contrast the "Sorrow" runeword will hit 4 frames (8.33 attacks per second). That doubles your damage and perhaps more importantly allows you to leech MUCH more consistently as you are landing more hits. Of course you will need enough AR to actually land all of your hits, but that is a different problem. |

All I needed to know is if it added to synergies, I knew all the rest. But if it's not the best, then what would be? I never made a fireclaw druid so I don't know shit from them, the stats on it looks like it would be. :O |
