Its not a patch thats going to last a year, hes trying to say the ladder season will last a year

Huh, the ladder and everything is getting reset, but we are able to patch in things or add content without wiping the server later on. So this means people won't lose their characters for at least a year, but there will probably be a few small patches along the way.

i think season means no 12 month but 3.
a year seems not possible to reality world.

In a couple weeks we will also be adding an EU host, and we believe it can be coded so that if you put 1 into the game description when making a game, it will force the US server, and if you put 2 it will force the EU server, so you won't have to remake games to get the server you want!

What does that even mean?

Soulmancer himself went to the discord channel and played a bit of 2.3. He didn't seem have any problems with 2.3 being called Hell Unleashed and that Ensley made a new patch, why would you?

And why is there always a bunch of old players on this forum that keep saying that the version of HU that everyone is playing isn't "real". 2.1's server has no support, is constantly having players stuck in games, and duff's own d2gs isn't online most of the time so there are only two euro hosts which at times is unplayable for NA players. Oh boy.

edit: To further my point, 2.1 isn't even playable. Went online, tried to join a game and get failed to join, now hes stuck in the game as a level 0 amazon. https://imgur.com/a/E3lGarc This is all of the stuck characters (and mine at the bottom) and no one is online, or ever is.
