Crafts now have the potential to be some of the best items in the game. Sets have more value than before because resists and leech are harder to stack up now. -EXP and HP ratios reverted to 1.21 values. This means every class receives 3 HP per Vitality. Life per level is Barb=5,Ama/Pal/Sin=4,Sorc/Nec/Dru=3. -More players in the game is now more difficult as monsters have greater HP scaling. Loading in mules to fill a game to get more XP will not always be worth it now as monster HP will more than double. -Drain value on bosses is now more predictable. All superunique bosses that can be leeched have a drain value of 60. This means with 10% leech, you will leech 6% in normal, 3% in nightmare, and 1% in hell. Some bosses still have no drain value and require Life Tap to leech at all. -Lowered str and dex requirements for all bows and top elite weapons/armor. The most you need now is bow=90 dex, weapons=175 str, sacred armor=200 str -All uniques now have a max level requirement of 95. This only really affects Uber drops, and is due in part to the XP change to be like 1.21 and how the game progresses now. -Increased velocity of some missile attacks and spells -Improved crafted item base bonuses -Improved bonuses of some mid-game runewords -Increased chance to gamble sets and uniques. Keep in mind you still cannot gamble elite items (besides high level rings/amulets/jewels) -Nerfed Fire Enchanted bonus for non-superunique monsters -Increased ele damage from gems and runes -Removed HP% from rubies -Increased power of Uber uniques -Increased durability of all elite weapons to 250 -Reduced damage of A3 Merc Blizzard -Increased resist penalties for players in NM and Hell to -60 and -120. -5 new Sets (you may recognize names from 1.6) -10 new Runewords -9 new Uniques -Civerb's is now a mid-level Amazon javelin set -Nature's Guardian (ele Druid) now has 0skill teleport just like Trang's -There are now more items that come with chance to cast Amplify Damage, Lower Resist, Life Tap, and Enchant. Check the webpages; ctrl+F is your friend. These effects can also now spawn as a suffix on rare/crafted items: Amplify Damage = weapon, glove, ring, circlet, lvl 5 Lower Resist = weapon, ring, amulet, lvl 30 Life Tap = weapon, ring, amulet, lvl 24 Enchant = weapon, glove, lvl 50 -There are now more powerful, high level chance to cast effects that can spawn on rare/crafted weapons and circlets. These require lvl 80 and can be meteor, glacial spike, or chain lightning. Skill Changes: AMAZON -Increased high-end (t5) damage of all poison/lightning javelin attacks Disease Spray - increased radius and velocity of effect Multishot - now 4 arrows at level 1 Guided Arrow - lowered damage but increased synergy from Multishot Immolation Arrow - increased explosion and burn radius Inner Sight - improved phys resist debuff effect and radius Valkyrie - increased survivability Dodge - reduced bonuses Avoid - reduced bonuses Strategy - reduced bonuses Perfection - reduced bonuses ASSASSIN Increased damage of all finishers, but reduced the radius of Dragon Tail aoe. Increased number of shots fired by Charged Bolt, Lightning, and Death Sentries, and Wake of Inferno from 5 to 10. Wake of Fire remains 5 shots. Wake of Fire - damage greatly reduced (fixed). This has been extensively tested and has not been nerfed to oblivion; It is still a good skill Fade - improved bonuses and DR, meaning Assassins can once again be more tanky if you build for it. DR% is 3%+1/4 lvl. Psychic Hammer - moderate damage boost; this is now the strongest single target spell in the game Mind Blast - nerfed the stun but increased the damage and radius of the spell. This is now a strong aoe farm skill. Shock Web - big damage boost Fire Blast - big damage boost Venom - small damage boost Blade Shield - small damage boost Blade Sentinel - increased damage but also increased hit delay to prevent specific abuse BARBARIAN All melee skills receive a larger magic damage bonus from Berserk synergy. Battle Command - increased duration to 5 minutes to make it less annoying, but still discourage BO bots War Cry - greatly increased damage, radius, and velocity. This is now a strong secondary skill for aoe farming, but the damage and range would not do well vs bosses, so a "full passive War Cry build" will not work unless you play with a dedicated boss killer. Double Swing - increased damage, and since Double Swing has a lower FPA than Frenzy, this will make a significant difference in damage, but you lose the IAS and FRW that Frenzy offers. Grim Ward - increased radius and effectiveness of the slow. This is now a very powerful skill for creating room to kite for your party. Iron Skin - improved bonuses DRUID Survivability has been increased for vines, all wolves, and grizzly. If you go full summons, you will still have a really hard time vs bosses, but as a secondary skill if you pick a wolf or grizzly, it will be strong. Hurricane - increased hit frequency and radius Armageddon - increased hit frequency and radius Increased damage of all other Elemental skills Frost Bite and Fire Claws - increased damage Shockwave - big damage boost, velocity increase, and fires an additional projectile (the AoE cone is larger.) This is now a strong aoe farm skill. Rabies - increased damage Feral Rage - now has 35% + 5% damage bonus NECROMANCER Survivabilty of summons has been increased for all skeletons, golems, and death knight. If you go full summons, you will still have a really hard time vs bosses, but as a secondary skill if you pick a skeleton, golem, or death knight, it will be strong. Bone Armor - slightly increased absorb Poison Explosion - greatly increased damage Poison Nova - increased velocity of effect Weaken - increased effectiveness from 15% to 16% Bone Spirit - high-level damage (tier5) increased, making it much better than Bone Spear for single target damage PALADIN Zeal - lowered damage but increased synergy bonuses Charge - moderate damage boost Holy Bolt - big boost to healing. Make healers great again! Prayer - moderate boost to the heal pulse amount Fist of the Heavens - big damage boost. Still no demon bypass #neverforget Blessed Hammer - increased the bonus this skill receives from Concentration; a good damage boost Defiance - +1% DR per 4 base levels Salvation - +1% max resist per 4 base levels Big boosts to the following auras. This is intended to add more diversity and help with sub spec auras to deal with immunities Holy Fire/Shock/Freeze - big boost to attack damage bonuses Sanctuary - huge damage boost, on par with Holy auras SORCERESS Static - reduced damage Nova - increased damage Frost Nova - increased damage Meteor - increased impact (not burn) damage Enchant - increased damage Frozen Orb - increased damage and reduced counter proc rate. Still not an ideal skill for bosses, especially in group play, as the ice bolts will cause extra unwanted counters. However, it is now a strong aoe farm skill. |

How was Shock Web damage boosted? It seems like the same damage as 1.8. |

All content cleared. Only major problems were, Halls of Arimyth paladin, barb and necro bosses have bad animations causing crashes to desktop. There is a client side fix. Hell Samhein sometimes will instantly die when you meet him. Portal boss before the A5 castle will sometimes instantly die and not spawn a portal if hes on the steps/entrance area. LoS Act bosses still dropping blue items and LoS XP is still extremely horrible, considering how difficult the mobs can be. |
