faggy small laptop lol. Well I'm assuming you aren't looking for a gaming beast considering you are only spending 500$ but around that price range I don't think there is too much diff between processors when it comes to running common applications. So if I was you I'd just looking for size, weight and battery life mainly. I'd suggest spending an extra 100$ to upgrade the battery. If you want specific information on which laptops are best for your price look up cnet's laptop reviews. they do a great job there of putting it all together for you. Hope this helps.. |

Keep away from Acer is all I have to say. Crappiest fucking junk ever. I play on an 2-year old Asus X72vn 17", this one can still keep up with em. I'm playing alot of Battlefield Bad Company 2 mplayer on it. So I can vouch for Asus, atleast the higher end comps. |

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications ... CatId=2510 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications ... CatId=4965 Thanks for all the help fellas. these are the two comps that ive found. just would like some opinions. One says dedicated graphics and the other has a graphics card by the looks of it. The one has an i3 processor and the other an amd dual core. which to get O_O? |

Don't have much time to look at them, but generally onboard dedicated graphics maxes at 720p when playing movies while better graphics cards will give you 1080p. I know that is a biggie for me, again look for size weight and battery life. And I REALLY recommend battery upgrade for around 100 bucks if you have the chioce. |
