Please respond with honesty; people won't be able to see what you voted for and this information will be useful in keeping the mod balanced. This isn't a post about being judgemental, it is just about collecting information from players. Answer the questions in order, so if you had a lvl70 or higher player, select that option and ignore the rest. Same deal if you single spawned. Feel free to let me know if I left an important option out. Let's keep this argument free. I will state up front that I will move/delete comments that are derailing the topic from its intended purpose. |

the option with a barb and necro should be changed to "with an organised party at correct level" most teams will have at least one or two level 61-62 by baal anyway |

My group was from lvl 58-62? i think in a5 normal no higher helps at al, it was me-ww/bo ofc barb seraph/druid elemental/oak mud/nec psn/amp/dec etc roy/pala healer/cleanse, prayer etc divine/pala smiter/fana jok-mok/nec bone supermario/sorc fire/enchant when we where at a5 nm divine and jok-mok didn't have time for party and only me mud roy and seraph played and Mario needed to go sleep for work so i let-ted hes sorc leach and uset him when needed so we went threw game w/o high lvl help

ill be honest... after trying to get this quest done for almost 2 weeks and failing... with full groups of appropiate levels just lacking certain classes (ie - healer, amp//LR, sage// BO, etc [in several different cases]), being able to clear guardian as a regular boss, not really too much trouble and then failing in castle and minions, i finally asked a high level friend to come in and help.. funny thing is... when we got to NM, only like 3 of us from that baal group walked a1 and proceeded to kill andy with absolutely no trouble at all.. the baal quest is a little ridiculous in my opinion, you need almost a perfect group to succeed.. |

you deff dont need a perfect team, you also should never need a healer for any quest. You do need lifebuffs though and they should already be incorporated in your party. if not then you will fail again. |

im just stating what i observed from the parties i had... im a nova sorc and could generally clear the majority of the trash to the bosses very quickly with ease until we got to bosses, then the other would contribute greatly... it just seemed i couldnt find a solid group of players to complete the quest... although several players were good, we couldnt carry the rest.. EDIT: and yeah, very difficult without life buffs... that was our main problems.. complete lack of barbs and the occasional oak sage... your healer comment is completely true... i was just saying that as a replacement to a life buff... ive only played with maybe 1-2 healers.. theres not many out there...lol |

I think I answered the poll right. We had a necro and barb in the party(which I voted), and all of us were under 65. The barb in my group didn't really contribute much outside of BO, though in his defense it was his first HU barb. I always thought norm/NM Baal was super easy with someone who knows how to gear a melee. He only has 33 physical resists in normal, making for very easy leeching provided there is some amp around. Achmel, Darkness, and the unique vines have always scared me much more than Baal himself. |

Yea I suppose so, but I would remove the single spawn option because it is no longer possible to single spawn bosses. Or maybe change it to 4 spawn. |

A group of us just killed norm baal. We ranged from 55-62. Three pallys, barb, druid, sorc, necro, and asn. We did 4 spawn Darkness and Baal, mainly because we were running low on juvs. Also didn't hurt that the sorc and one of the pallys were kinda dead weight on the bosses... |
