are we gonna have enough servers? for the reset? also we should have western, europe, and a asia server. or els asia people will lag too much and not play. |

First, wrong thread to talk about this. Why should we have an Asia server, what is the % of ppl playing from Asia ? According to Google Analytics, there is 2,6% of people visiting the forums who come from Asia/Oceania and Africa, so I don't think having an Asia server will help here. |

oh ok thx forgot about Google Analytics. thats a good idea to figure out where we need servers. but would google analytics show a higher % than just 2.6% if we had asia servers? then the asia people that did vist the forums would vist much more often and maybe boost the % or does it not work like that? i played a other D2 mod before and there was no western servers. and the lag was soo bad i had to quit the mod right at the start. |

We have two western US dedicated servers. I think Asia players can get a decent ping on them. Otherwise, adding an Asia server means everyone will create or join a game on it someday and will prolly get worst ping than US servers. |

I have a friend who lives in Australia and has no problems using the uswest servers even in places like throne. I see no real need to add another server. The biggest issue is quality of the connection and less on server location. |
