hi, is there a resource that shows the breakpoints for fhr fcr ias and such?
is there something similar for weapons? because on the webpages documentation for hu 1.7 it doesnt say how much ias a weapon has on the base, but some items have ias as their staffmod, so is that the new ias and all weapon bases have 0 ias?

The only animations that were changed in v1.7 were the Amazon's Dodge/Avoid animation (from 6 frames down to 4), so the FCRate, FHRecovery, and IAS breakpoints should generally match with online D2 references. When checking IAS, just select a similar weapon (i.e. it has the same swinging animation in-game) with the same speed as the one you're looking at in v1.7.

The webpages were updated in March to include base speed. In the files, a weapon's speed is shown as a number that is smaller (even negative) for faster weapons. If a weapon has a speed of -30, then having 20%IAS will yield a speed of -50. You're welcome to download a new set of files.

For comparison, WereWolf's Fury attack (weapon should be irrelevant) takes 6 frames at -50 speed , and 4 frames at -90 (attacks go from 4 to 6 per second, effectively a 50% damage boost, but also 50% more counters).

so what is the deal with the staffmod on, say, dimenional blade? it has i think 15 ias as its staffmod, its a bit confusing because on normal lod it doesnt have that staffmod

also, even if fhr/ias/fcr/etc didnt change from lod i think it would make sense to include those in the documentation

From the WhiteWeapons webpage, the speed of a dimensional blade is -20. The automod includes +15% IASpeed, so the final speed is -35. You are welcome to use the IAS Calculator methods used in previous HU versions. There are probably some more minor details, but I don't have good references for them. If someone provides a link to the details of creating a weapon speed calculator, then I don't mind producing one, but it won't be near the top of my list of things to do.

If you have a link to some D2 documentation that you like, then I'll add a note on my list of thing to do to include or arrange the information similarly. I don't have a way to update the HU Databse linked to along with that calculator link, but I believe it will be brought up to date for HUv1.8.
