So I'm just generally walking River with my Dragon Claw sin wondering if the Forge is closer to City of the Damn or to the River Way Point

What merc would you recommend for clearing faster I mean Death Sentry does a very nice job paired with cloak of shadows but I think it could be done a lot faster started this mod 3 or 4 days ago and not familiar with the mercs and all. Also is the OSkill Lifetap on wands broken?

yeh its a missing string due to the skills being changed iirc.

what kinda assasin are you making? an act 1 phys merc will work well through norm with any char tbh.

Dragon Claw sin to tank for my friends bowzon and the frostbite druid I usually team with using Full Iratha's some crafts also we've noticed the aura blessed aim messes up the zon passive's.

We've noticed when he's in range of the aura the passive that gives him the AR + Defense boost negates and gives him negative defense and other weird things on the character screen.

Also Vigor doesn't work with the Iratha I think the set bonus messes up a few things

i think thats due to a bug with only allowing so many auras on equip at once. same happens with hsarus and insight.

So it's status's not auras because vigor and blessed aim would be the only ones. Only other ones are burst of speed and fade.

I've noticed the same thing with Blessed Aim reducing my bowazon's defence. I have two points in Strategy, and I've noticed that my defence is much lower when I have a Zephyr crossbow equipped than when it is unequipped.

Any idea of what is causing that?

I'm still trying to work it out tbh. I think its something to do with the ar on the 2 skills clashing and causing a problem with the added def.

the xbow one really has me stumped though. I'll have to have a look through the mods on the RW and get back to you. Thanks for pointing that out.

Ha! tracked down the offending problem. Blessed aim grants a "penetrate" passive state.
penetrate is the zon skill that grants ar and def.

The calculation for that passive state controls the 5% ar per hard point in the skill.
skill('Blessed Aim'.blvl) * par8 being the actual formula.

These 2 penetrate skills are conflicting and the aura is becoming the "active" passive meaning your def will be lowered. (for zons only)

Its an easy fix. Thanks for pointing that out

^NP :). Just curious, how/when will the fix be implemented? Is it something that I can do myself without too much difficulty or required knowledge about DII modding?

if its for the single player version I can post you a client side edit for it. If its multiplayer then it`ll be the next patch update

^Si, playing the single player version. Just wondering, would my bowazon experience a similar problem with Defiance? I was thinking of crafting a holy circlet for her, and I would rather not waste a perfect diamond (perfect gems aren't very expendable in Act III normal, as they become in higher difficulties) to find that my defence will be lowered even further.

no, the problem is there are 2 states clashing with each other on the 2 skills (Thats what I'm seeing in the text files anyway). defiance hasn't got the state in question so it will work fine.

Refer to this thread also, there are a few other things I can do to ease fps drops and graphic intensive skills.

Page 4 has the solo skills.txt that allows all skills on left click (its handy for teleport especially) If you want any of those changes I'll do them all in the one file, just let me know.
