I'm going to be attempting to kill soulmancer end game boss with my Druid. I am curious as if anyone knows any quest or level restrictions for entering the portal i make to vs him? Good to know before I make so I don't have to refind parts and glyphs. |

Could be totally wrong, but you probably need to have all quests done to enter, including the using of the socket, and rare items quests. Maybe Mancer isn't behind this questflag wall...but it should be. |

Well i'm level 99 Druid, over 10k life, end game gear do about 76k dmg. Soulmancer 1 taps me before I even get near him. I managed to hit him once and died second after. So FYI for future people, maybe bliz sorce or someone with distance just hit him once you enter portal and then die, rejoin and hit and keep doing it. Melee char no matter what items or stats u have you will not get close to him. Was a fun attempt but too OP imo. |

I had a very similar experience fighting soulmancer before the last reset. Even with the overpowered physical facets giving elemental absob and damage reduction and gear from hours of "free crafting" with 99% vendor prices reduced it was impossible to do anything. My zealer was totally 'broken', he could walk up to diablo or samhain(depending on his mods) and straight-up zeal them to death. Despite all this there was no chance surviving against soulmancer. With 4~5 players on ranged chars, keeping him from healing and abusing the tp/rejoining there is a very lame way of killing him. |
