Im not denying we are a part of the European continent, we are a part of the EU after all. Im saying I'm british and my nationality is british. I dont want to be called european as geographical location has nothing to do with my nationality. If I decide I want to be called British and not European who are you to say thats wrong? Once we start using the Euro Dollar as our currency we will be European, until then Im afraid we are british.
You feel the need to bring geographical location into it but geographical location has nothing to do with nationality as you have already said.
to the posts that I missed, (hadrians wall) the wall was built because the romans couldn't control the
native british people in the north. They were still british people as im sure you are aware. Most of who, colonised Scotland and who my family are descended from. (Descended from the Anderson clan) My family can be traced a very long way back, well before the whole European thing so I am british through and through.
