Having trouble running into white 1-hand weapons that can have over 3 sockets close to my difficulty level. I have some runes I can make runeword weapons with but I can never come across a weapon I want to use. I would like to mention that 2-handed weapons and "Skinny" 1 handed whites seem to drop in droves about equal to the monster level, but I cleared chaos (and even rof) like 4 times (currently on NM) and found nothing. Is this normal? Vendors sell blues only. |

Any white + triple socket = 3 sock weapon. As to the specific weapon you're looking for, you'll just have to find it. |

I'm pretty sure the cube can convert blue items to whites: Adamant Hammer + Mithril Hammer + Magical Weapon or Magical Armor = Normal Weapon or Armor (ethereal is preserved). After than, you can make it Superior: Adamant Glyph + Adamant Hammer + Normal Weapon or Armor = Superior Weapon or Armor (ethereal is preserved). Then as Angel mentioned, you can socket it to whatever you want, but it's true that some items are limited in the number of sockets they support. Generally their inventory size is the limit, but if you tell us what you're looking for specifically, then someone could confirm it for you. |

Don't sweat it! I appreciate it. I'm just trying to solo NM Diablo and it's gear-checking me. I found a hydra edge and followed the instructions to make it a superior white. I just wanted to make a Kingslayer for the extra GF. Still crafting and gambling but already much improved gear. Don't go out of your way, I like the challenge. The Dracs were absolutely necessary though and I had no luck gambling for them in NM. Thank you for that! |
