I'm updating my Chinese translation and I meet some problem of your item names.

  • Norrec's Corrupt Tenement
*Answered* Should it be Corrupted (use as adj in past participle form)?

  • Norrec's Asperous Journey
*Answered* Does it refer his past (time)?

  • "Fiacla-Gear" Set
*Answered* I know he is ancestor of Druid, but in The Book of Cain, ancestor of Druid became Vasily.

  • Ascenian Birthright
*Answered* Should it be Ascension (spelling)?

BTW, can you guys place my translation to the download topic? (it's done)
*He did*

cor·rupt
kəˈrəpt
adjective

evil or morally depraved.
"the play can do no harm since its audience is already corrupt"

v. cor·rupt·ed, cor·rupt·ing, cor·rupts
v.tr.
1. To ruin morally; pervert: "The argument that modern life consists of a menu of horrors by which we are corrupted ... is a founding idea of the critique of modernity" (Susan Sontag).
2. To destroy or subvert the honesty or integrity of, as by offering bribes: "Our politics has been corrupted by money and suffused with meanness" (Peter Edelman).

Corrupted is a past participle in reference to something that's already happened. Corrupt is a present participle. You are in the present and have his helmet now. His helmet(a circumlocution of his brain) is corrupt because he was corrupted.

Fiacla-Gear was the Barbarian who founded the Druid colleges which is why the set has both Barbarian and Druid properties.

So Tenement not actually referring a house or somewhere but his torn flesh (according to basic item Hellforged Plate)?

I added new questions.

Ascension is a word relating to ascending in a literal or spiritual sense.

Ascenian was a race of people in Diablo lore, which is what Uldyssian was.

Norrec's Asperous Journey is a reference to his fateful quest to uncover the mysteries of Bartuc's armor.

I'm actually leaning towards Cai on this one. But what it comes down to (at least in my eyes), is the origin of the helm.

If it was at its inception in an uncorrupted state, and later corrupted through his works or by being in his possession, I'd say it should be labeled as 'Corrupted'.

However, if it was brought into existence or somehow created through some (un)divine means by Norrec, and thus, was corrupted from its inception, then I'd wager it should be listed as 'Corrupt'.

That's my line of thought at least; I'm no English or linguistics major, though.

Norrec's Twisted Mind is a Bone Visage,
Norrec's Corrupt Tenement is a Hellforged Plate.
So I asked this question... cuz confused.

Ah, I think I had the items mixed up, but my explanation on the tenses still stands.

However, if the Tenement is regarding the Hellforged Plate, and thus is a manifestation of Norrec's essence, I think 'Corrupt' is correct. On the other hand, if we're thinking in more literal terms, and the HP was a a normal plate and later corrupted while in his possession, 'Corrupted' would be more accurate.

I fear if this goes any further, we'll just be arguing pointless semantics.

Oh right, well then it's a reference to his body, as his home(tenement) which was corrupted by Bartuc, so his armor is corrupt. I suppose 'corrupt' is a strange word, but generally anything that is in the present would be corrupt. His body was corrupted, because it's no longer here.

The "Corrupt Tenement" is a figurative reference of his body, not a literal reference to the armor itself.

Fair enough. I'm not ever sure why I felt like I needed to chime in here. I certainly wasn't trying to argue, just seemed like a fun little topic. Cheers.

I mentioned the adj tag on dict just now.....
So "corrupt" and "corrupted" is also ok but I guess you are emphasizing the 'current state' of the Tenement.
