After i go through WP in dark woods and walk a bit my D2 crashes. |

Are you the only one ? Updated to 1.6a ? No DATA folder in your game/mod folder ? |

Dark Woods has always been a crash place. If you left the game, you'll need to go there through the underground passage to go through it again. A golden rule for HU is to make sure you get the black marsh wp before leaving the game. |

This crash isnt anything new. if Dark Woods is the furthest waypoint you have, just go to stony first then to DW. |

I had never encountered this issue until 1.5. Then it began happening almost without fail. |

I remembering it happening for a long time before 1.5. just go into another WP before going to DW. |

As a programmer that has experienced this issue a couple of times, I tested a couple of options to work out what it could of been. Every time it has happened I normally skipped the cain quest and went straight to act 2. Conditions to fix it: 1) Go to Black Marsh WP, then treck back into the Dark Wood to get the scroll of infuse. You can then proceed to rescue cain. 2) Kill blood raven, then the next quest allows you to spawn into the Dark wood. I have never encountered this issue with having the cain quest completed. |
