I'm having two issues with this error. I seem to be inexplicably getting this when starting games with certain glide settings that were previously running fine. Afterwards I will have to change certain settings again that wouldn't work before but now DO work. And so on and so on. It seems random to me but I feel like there has to be an actual answer to this.

The second thing is I'm getting this same error whenever I talk to Cain.

I've gone through and done pretty much every single thing I could find online to help remedy this and it's still an inconsistent fix at best. So any input about this would be greatly appreciated.

It's a pretty infamous error alright. Once I was almost positive I had pinned it down to whenever I had used AdobeReader before starting D2 (maybe some weird RAM interference I figured), but it was too inconsistent.

My solution is to reboot the computer. Seems to work consistently, which is part of the reason I was thinking it was RAM related.
