I'm working on fixing the issues with 1.6 now, but my connection is rough after some pretty bad flooding in my area. It'll take a while to get these downloaded, repacked and uploaded.

Edit: Actually I need to update the bases too to make updating patches more efficient.

with the data folder you sent me, all sorc masteries are showing with the synergy "an evil force" ie. a missing string.

That's just what it has always said in game since the 1.5b change Mraw made now that they are 'elemental focus' things. They do work and up your damage, they just have a string missing. I don't think that really matters, but feel free to fix it lol. AFAIK they don't have a synergy, like Warmth, it's just upping itself...

Did you add any strings to the .tbl files? I might need to move your strings into another set to fix this.

Yes for all the new sets and a few new uniques there are new strings.

Also I almost forgot, double check Leoric, Baal, and challenge bosses in NM and Hell don't crash with the new resist cap string. I had to fix one and I think it worked, but make sure.

Did masteries never have a synergy description even in 1.5b? If not I'll add one quick

Also I wasn't quite sure how to save it, but if you can rename health and mana pots to just HP and MP, that would really help with ground clutter.

sorry, just added a desc for masteries then started packing it all up. You can add it in a client side edit later

no, I'm just packing everything up as is. The only reason I caught the sorc one was because that's what I made to make sure the .mpq was packed with your data correctly by checking hydra synergies.

There's something wrong with the full version sounds.txt and soundenviron.txt. When it's trying to play the town music something is dividing by zero. I just fixed the sound files a year or 2 ago too, but looks like they got mixed up again at some point. I'll have to just provide a lite for now. Sounds stuff can be an annoying rabbit hole.

I packed both full and lite but full seems to be prone to crashing at least upon entering a1 town with sound turned on for me. Possibly more, I didn't have time to look into it in detail. You can try with the full version and just turn off music when going to a1 town. It wont effect the realm as they run lite anyway.

Long story short, you will most likely have to run lite for a while until the sound issue is fixed.

The full version is acked too, it's just some text editing that can be done clientside, the important stuff play wise is there. IE. you can play using the full version just turn off sound until I fix sounds and soundenviron.txt then you can dl those 2 small files to fix it.

Lite is uploading as we speak. Will need a mirror though as the download limit on my dropbox gets hit pretty quickly with too many downloads at once.

That's the pack, but it's still uploading... Just extract to your current HU folder. Same deal for hosts, just paste those files into the game server directory. Install process is exactly the same as in 1.5a topic if installing from scratch, except use the above client package.

If your's works with music then it might be my machine.

Stick the thunderstorm thing in a bug thread for 1.6, stuff like that can be quickly fixed with a clientside update. As long as the meat and bones of it is running fine.
