This to me seems as if you are way to serious about a game.
First concern, you state they gm... well the point of gm being an average or decent player could become godlike and do things like LOS easily.... then why bother rushing like approximately 7 chars to make sure they had all basis covered for them is beyond me.
Second concern is you stated put your money where your mouth is... Maybe its just be, but money on a game to prove they can beat a level in a game is just foolish, but that's your deal not mine.
Finally, prove to themselves? To whom and for what would they be proving? That they can do a level, in a y2k game, without dying? What honor should they receive for doing such? Are they entitled to a gold trophy, or an Olympic medal? So they may be able to talk shit to you all they want? Maybe I missed a memo, but I believe everyone does that as is, no trophy required.
Long story short, I don't know you, and from the looks of it I really don't care to know you, however, you take a game, that apparently you hardly play as of late, way to seriously.
