113k dmg and 2fpa...i think this is over 1 million damage per second...other factors include block fhr and such so for laziness lets half it and call it 500k damage per second. Not too shabby...could boost it as high as 130k dmg i imagine.

Ok so i am not so lazy...Believe there is 12 attacks per second at this rate...if that is true then. (please note screen shot below shows ondals equipped for braggin rights on max dmg weapon no facets).

12 x 113k = 1,356k dmg per second if i were to hit 100% of the time.

I really am too lazy to figure out how much block and fhr kills that so 50% reduction should be good and that brings us to an average of 678k dmg per second.

There it is!

Theres also passive pierce and lower res to factor in for actual damage, say with lr and passive pierce you can drop most to -100 and highly resistants to -50? so 50% to 100% more damage.

Even at 2 hits a sec thats still around 400 - 500k dps lol :D

108 with gris iirc?

yes ondals...i believe 108 was with rlore (-84% enemy fire res)...113 was with your old weak griff (-63% enemy fire res) I traded you for and 118k was with ondals over gris/ward.

You posted too quick still 5k x 12 will lower it from 678k to 648k (remember I halved this number in the equation for laziness above and thus you only take 30k off of it instead of the full 60k)

Even with the best attack rating, you'd be missing 1/20 of your attacks.

If you want to theory craft, do it right :)

he already said his damage with gris caddy is 113k... then he halved the attacks per sec to allow for fhr, and missed attacks. durp

Isn't the damage limit (or loop) around 75k?

nope...and it's buffed with level 60 chant or so...think base damage is in the 73k-75k range on the max end...

yeh its well above 75k, perhaps 75k per frame (ie. fire damage). if it was 75k then what about the big single hits from meteor for 84-87k and the big dtails from kicksins.

Post subject:  Re: Fire Claw Damage

Damage rollover is around 83 or 84k PER ELEMENT and PER FRAME. Also, there was actually no damage cap/rollover until a certain patch. This was one of the exploits in the mod Median, where some people kept earlier d2 patches so that their damage would not roll over on some of the big hitting spells. 1.10 actually may not have a damage cap and it could be 1.11 that instated it. I'm not sure on it but I remember reading that older patches never had a damage cap, and I think 1.10 falls in that category.

edit: The following link will bring you to a thread on the Median forums. It is a "short questions" thread where people look to get quick answers. Halfway through the first page, someone asks about the damage cap. A few posts below that, another member answers that question. The number given was 82k, but I've heard 83 and 84 both being mentioned as well at different times and on different forums. In any case, it seems that my hunch of there NOT being a damage cap in 1.10 was correct.

Again, there's a damage roll over in 1.10, it's in the range of 800k. You will hit this on a well made D-tail sin, I say this from personal experience. I suspect a 2h charge paladin may be able to reach retarded numbers as well as maybe a leap barbarian.

Post subject:  Self-help (joke)

I went into a bookstore the other day and asked the woman behind the counter where the self-help section was. She said, "If I told you, that would defeat the whole purpose." (note: "self-help" has two meanings 1) you take without paying 2) you can choose as you like)
