yeah OR carrion wind ring should have a charge synergy to it **WEAKER** than it did last season but still there... like perhaps: level 12-18 charges of poison creeper.

i dunno what you guys are complaining about - my rabies druid does just fine. I can easily farm tundra with MF gear on and in other areas things die in 1 hit.

If you add synergies, then you can't max out other skills. Having tons of extra points to put in summons or fury is a GREAT option.

not complaining... just saying it wouldnt buff him too much w/ lvl 15 creeper charges or so.

thats exactly what the charges on the ring did. It gave extra points that would otherwise be spent in the synergy (psn creeper) and allowed you to put those into summons/fury/whatever instead.

**Hell, raise the level requirement for it then...Perhaps lvl 75-80, make the rabies druid wait and wait to finally equip it. You gotta admit that its a pretty useless ring for any other purpose (i never use one anymore with all the other options out there). It can be the Rabies Druid's equivalent to the Elemental Weaver sword for Vengence/Conviction type pallys.

that is a horrible idea and would encourage people to rush the character to make it effective.

Using items to bug your dmg is lame and in this case entirely unnecessary. You can play a rabies druid just fine.

Make raven a synergy to rabies/creeper and give it poison peck damage :)

say 5 hits per level so they last awhile (lvl40 - 200 hits), max of 5 ravens

then give them venom type damage so it overrides rabies

another synergy would just mean more points diverted from more useful skills.

Right now you can take an awesome build path and go dual physical/psn with fury and rabies. You can use rabies to hit and run bosses when you aren't strong and then go back and use fury on them for the massive DPS and farm them with ease. It is a great dual build with strategies for when you are weak and strategies for when you are powerful. Don't ruin that with nonsense synergies for dmg that doesn't need to be there.

Poor Nature's Peace...I wonder if anyone suggested to buff it in that unique suggestion thread. It really is a piece of shit.

I still refuse to believe rabies has turned out as terrible as everyone has been saying. Has anyone even tried gearing it out for endgame with massive pierce and poison damage%? Seems to me everyone is just butthurt you've actually gotta invest in poison creeper now. Besides, it's a 40 point build, allowing you to switch gear and do two types of damage. How many other builds allow that kind of versatility(effectively, anyway)?

If I already wasn't in love with my shitty WW sin I plan to make again I'd probably give it a go this season. But alas, bastard facets are too hard to obtain on HC to have multiple builds of the same element(at least in my twisted D2 perfectionist mind).

Nature Peace
Prevent Monster Heal
Slain Monsters Rest In Peace
Damage Reduced by 5%
All resistances +15
Level 6 Oak Sage (30 Charges)
+60-120 to life
Poison Length Reduced by 40%
Half Freeze Duration

better eh?... but say it.. its OP now ;p
i actually use this one eventually... when redemp is not fast enough in places with a lot CE or too much monsterheal, but redemption obviously makes jewelry like this useless.

Should give its oak charge some love. I don't think level 15 would be too much, Wisp would still blow it out of the water.

I have near endgame rabies build

20 lycan
20 oak
20 rabies
20 creeper
20 grizzly bear

I just hit 90 and made Time staff. The LR is key when no necro is around. The new mod of mindblast is like having an a2 merc (conversion).

I do about 250k with 8 ss skillers. So another 8 + brain + heart + anni and switch to Templar should hit 400k easy.

Over how many secs?
My psn zon is doing around 130k plague over 8,2 sec and around 60k over 6 sec psn jav at lvl 95. And with those numbers she is doing well enough in my book, killing shit in a decent rate and she is quite useful on certain areas (darkness, baal etc).

So with those numbers I would say that a rabies druid which gets the massive life, summons and a way to dish out cb to boot still is a op powerhouse.

should be over around 10-11 sec for rabies. Most likely 10.8

With a full contingent of skill charms most every character is going to perform at an insane level.

If you really wanted a balanced game, then skill charms would need to be removed but I recognize that it is good to keep them in the game because there are plenty of people who like to build these "perfect" characters and run them around destroying things. That's perfectly fine and if it entertains them than more power to them ~ they are playing a game and should be doing something fun.

For me though, I just simply don't bother farming all the charms and have fun myself with builds that are a bit more down to earth.
