Anyway to make it so each piece is the gold "unique" color in their perspective difficulties? So a nm leg would be red in norm or hell, but would be gold in nm. Same way the act2 parts and cube work. I'm ALWAYS getting cow parts mixed up :oops:

I support this 100%, or maybe make each part have a diff color per difficulty, red in norm, blue in nm, gold in hell or whatever.

But... could this change make farming in cow level too easy and therefore making it OP????

@ zeratul, all it would do is allow a slightly reduced organisation :P i think this is a great idea. but i cant really help do it as i dont know how

I think I recall someone trying to implement this. Maybe Blue. I wanna say it couldn't be done because they are flagged as quest items. Hopefully that's not the case though, because I can't count the number of pieces I've junked just because of the hassle of figuring out what's what. Also if the color of pieces can't be changed, perhaps N, NM, H tags could be added to them?

Haven't been around much and not sure whats changed to what, but you can make 3 seperate cube recipes in cubemain.txt. Just take the original cow level line, copy/paste to the bottom twice and change the inputs for those lines to new items. Have those items drop from NM bosses (with recolored names with (Nightmare/Hell) added to the name).

Now those items for norm cows will only drop in normal (with (Normal) suffix or whatever), nightmare parts will drop from NM bosses and hell parts from hell bosses.
The parts from the wron difficulty wont work because the cube recipe checks what difficulty the items were dropped in. Since the NM parts only drop in NM, you cant use norm/hell parts to open in NM etc.
