Post subject:  Request for a slight cosmetic change on one item.
Wondering if we could remove the auto-wolf shift on the beast runeword as the shift locks out skills. Or was it removed? Just want to make sure before I spend a Jah to make it for my build only to have it not work as intended.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

what does not work with beast rw?

Imo it's a good rw, opens up lots of possibilities, just TOO late(like everything in d2/hu)

lots of skill casting, quite a few melee skills, throwing skills too?.

Im not saying anything is wrong with the actual runeword other than the shift. It really is a good runeword and just for my build idea and other possible builds its useless once in shift mode. In my opinion, the shift change just makes it worse and limits the possibilities it can give.

Well, RW is balanced for auto-wolf shift so it's all ok you're saying. There are a lot of rws unused or overlooked which could be used for your needing, if no then propose something new/tweak.

IMO RWs like Chaos (ohm rune) are ok cuz allow many hybrid builds to guys who wish that, not necessary being OP (well not in claws)

Sorry kinda didnt write my post well. I think it would be a great RW if the shift were removed to open up some possibilities. As is i dont really see many/any classes using it at all. It's basically an end game item and it has no end game use as its fanat aura (its most important feature) is on other RWs that have higher level of it.

This is why i suggested shift be removed, that way at least it could fit some niche builds. I don't really see any builds using it as is atm.

How about instead of auto shift make the shift Oskill and the player has the option to use shift or not ... Other then that I like it the way it is for a3 mercs for abit of life boost...

Well what about mercs? Give it to a barbarian merc and He turns into a wolf for you.
