What do you guys think of this?

Incentive to max out mastery earlier, more magic damage, IM immunity on a barb is always nice, gives more polar versatility to conc build, and... it needs to be a little more awesome imo.

I'm using an Oath in a Martel De Fer, 250-450 dmg. My regular hit does 6k and a 400% berserk does 8k. The math is correct but having only 2k magic damage with the sacrifice of all my defense is a bit tough. especially in mobs. This is not about me clearing trash so don't say something stupid like "just get a merc."

I just believe why not give it the extremity of it's purpose? Magic Damage vs Phys immunes. I'd hate to call barb a monotonous character, because i haven't made many, but i just think it needs less phyisical damage...

I am pretty ignorant about the deeper mechanics of the game, so I leave this thread open to you guys to tinker the details out.

I thought it did convert the dmg?

As for the math - the 400% acts like any other skill %ED boost, it doesn't multiply your final damage, it just boosts your base dmg. In your case - assuming you are quoting max dmg values - there is an additional 1800 max dmg (450 x 400%). It is 100% magic dmg though and not physical dmg.
