they do no dmg and cause lag perhaps? why have them? the only useful one is baals cold nova that knocks people back and it doesn't proc enough to begin with, maybe up to 3-5% Or change them to some useful procs |

Yeah i agree on this, damage is too low. I'd keep shards proc to 1-2% but raise damage, or remove them and put resistances like poison on andy's, cold on duri's, lig on meph's, fire on diablo's and magic on baal's. To make them unique i would set them to random 5-20 resistances... Maybe a bit op tho, just tossing ideas. |

the damage will never do anything in hell, fire sorc with 130 pierce and 230% from fire mastery does nothing. when diablos fire thing procs add rand absorb amounts instead 2-5% andy psn/curse reduce 10-25% length duriel cold 2-5% or damage reduce 2-5% meph 2-5 light diablo 2-5% fire baal 2-4% fire/light/cold or +1 warmth would be cool no one really needs resistance if they can get a shard they already have them maxed. |

as far as i know they are novelty. sorbs and dr would make them rather powerful. |

2-5% would hardly make them op,since ur avg gear has NONE, even end game gear has 6% tops with spirit ward shield and raven/dwarf eye frost/flame which no one really uses anyway end game lol. or how about % when struck it casts some spell that grants absorb% for a certain duration 40 seconds or so some "fire/light/cold shield" effect |

dont know anything about new skills but it was said somewhere else that sorbs were removed for a reason. not to be just added back elsewhere..tho soul shards are not your standard gear. might be easier to get now that ppl are running bosses for the skill shards tho |

is 2-5% absorb really op that takes about 11 boss runs on avg to get one shard? andy takes about 10 mins w two people duriel you have to get a special char just to find the right tomb he takes about 10-15 mins meph depending on lvl layout 10-15 + diablo about 20+ baal about 30-40+ so maybe just maybe they should do something more useful then some lame proc that does nothing but be a source of possible lag. |

Id say 1-10 res and 1-3 sorb on each would be just right. But id like over anything else a great damage buff on the already existing procs, if its possible to do that without messing up the bosses's damage when they actually cast those spells lol |

well i would guess as they use same spells added dmg to procs would add to boss spells. res's arent really needed end game.which is where you are at by the time u are farming shards. its sorbs that are needed |

Huh, I see your point. Shards previously were trophies, with low %drop rate you had to kill act bosses a lot to get them yet still people were getting it, because they could/want. Now with +1skill everyone wants them, chars that normally would never use them, probably creating massive lag on locations like tundra etc. So it need adjusting. Imo remove ctc and leave only +skill or add formula that you can cube shard so you get +1skill new shard without ctc. I say no to adding something on it, if it was dropped in LoS only then yes. |

hmm, my old frostbiter used to rip tundra/wsk to shreds with diablo, duriel and baals shard. If you attack enough to proc them often they are pretty handy for clearing the smaller stuff so you only really need to attack the uniques/champs/bigger enemys |
