Post subject:  We need generic lvl90 helm runewords

There are all sorts of white helms falling in hell-

-dream/blood/sky spirits with random druid skills
-conqueror/destroyer helms with random barb skills
-diadems, adament helms, coronas

But there are no high level helm runewords to make in them.

What if we made a few generic runewords using some of the higher runes (ber, jah, cham, zod)

+3 all skills so it works for any class and to boost War stamina
+res all
1 useful aura like lvl12 defiance/lvl6 conviction/lvl4 salvation
5% chance to reanimate something
10% chance to cast lvl15 frozen armor when struck

So about 3 variants each with 1 aura. Let people decide which they want. Vengers/sorcs might want conviction, summoner might want defiance or salvation, etc.

Maybe plus 2 to all skills .. Wouldn't want to see this rw out shine a RavenLore or Dhorn...The rest would be neat to see..Plus I would like to add that i think skill mods should spawn on white diadems tiara's ex...To make those hats more effective..

Meh enough with the op items already. If anything aura's should be banned from all items but paladin shields. If you want aura's find a paladin to party with.

ok maybe thats a bit too much, but come on, salvation/conviction on helms? Reanimates are pretty neat though

These would be using ber, jah, cham, zod level runes.

If you don't put any good mods then people may as well use the basically free Crown of Ages or Griffons Eye. Similarly, if you just copy the mods on Dhorn or Ravenlore, then again why bother.

no matter what they would be using - conviction or even defiance would only put bigger hole between team and solo. Something game breaking shouldn't be on any "merc" item, at least not w/o sacrifice.
Also it's SAD that defiance isn't buffed at all and not removed from some items - giving it on every craft/rw/uniq means this skill would never be maxed on dins - just simply adding 1%dr per 1 or 2 hard points could help a lot - smiters/zealers anyone?

sure - specify items that are functional, but don't overshadow other items to the point that these new runewords will be used and the other end game helms will be tossed aside and we can get them in to the patch. As long as they increase gear variety and don't just replace current items they should be a good fit.

End game helms

Dhorn
RavenLore
Mancers
Griffs
Crown of age's

Don't see any problems with making a high lvl rune word helm.. Makes for more intresting builds and gear choise's..Also adds to the economy with trading... I say make Daidems Tiara's and circlets have random mods on them for all class's..
Runeword== Cham Jah Amn Sheal==Name Crown of Desolation

lvl 10 salvation on equip
plus 2 to all skills
200 enhanced def
Cannot be frozen
20% fcr
10% life gain
10% mana gain
30 res all
20% hit point recover
20% R/W

Now thats not overpowered and doesn't super seed end game hats..
Griffs will always be for ele casters.. Dhorn and Raven will always be what there are to..Now before people start saying that this would be the end to Griffs lets me say this ... Griffs with 18% to any ele skill is like adding 3 skill points to the helm when infact it has plus 2 to all skills anyways..Now add facets.. You will still get more ele dmg with a griffs then this rw idea..

And if you wanted to make this hat lvl 90 thats fine .. Just didn't want the thing indy with a zod in it..

Salv would be too much... all res + abs on whole team from a non class item is no good - puting a point in a salv wouldn't be necessary... whole skill would be OP as too common, no matter what runes it would require, with that rw you would end in 2 situation - you have it you're good, you don't have it you suck. Sorry to commenting your idea that way but I mean only not to put bigger holes between some builds/team/play styles.

Maybe medit for some self fcr/mana regen... but that could lead to abuse from healer's (or no??)

Reason I picked that aura is you don't see it often ..Maybe just take the res off it...Plus looking if sorb rings get nerfed... This will be away to get some sorb but would have to work for it ..

Well I never seen one Sc player use this aura with there pallys.. Sad as it is..But on Hc you see it all the time .. wonder why Hmmm.. Enough with the jokes.... This hat is just an idea to show we can come up with something that won't throw the end game hats out of balance..
