Prevent high lvls from rushing. Allow Slayers making normal mode games when non-slayers can join and disable possibility of joining Slayers etc to game that created non-slayer. GZ ! No noobs on nightmare!

Indeed, nobody learns anything by being spoon fed and carried through. No wonder people get owned once they get dropped off in hell at level 50 by a level 99 and have no idea how the mod plays. :P

I'm all for stopping the ability to rush chars. Don't know if this is possible, but can the game be set for not allowing someone in town to get Baal quest? I know currently it is not. Likely that's hard coded into the game and unable to be easily fixed. Pretty sad, blizz never addressed that issue many patches ago. Which is why on vanilla there are level 1 spam bots roaming hell.

Level restrictions on your games prevents high-level rushers and low-level spam bots from joining. The biggest drawback is that people who wanted a rush won't join your game, but you probably don't want to play with those guys anyways.

I realize those things, trust me been doing that for years. However, with a small alteration of blizz to the games mechanics would change that. Example, if you cannot complete ancients quest due to level, then you cannot get Baal quest while standing in town. Another possibility, you must talk to Tyreal after defeating Ball to move on. Those things are so simple a caveman could do them. Then again we are talking about blizzard here. After only 10 years of Diablo being out, they remove im from all monsters in the game, talk about failsauce.

You could do it with hard coding (i think) but it would likely involve replacing a fair bit of the structure. I'm not sure though im no code editor
