 Post subject: some minor sugesstions

in charstats txt increase all chasrs R/W velocity to 10/13

also in skills txt insert 1 in the noammo column for double throw, lightning fury, thunder bolt, all arrow skills.

the no ammo thing refuses to work for throwing skills. it skill consumes quantity (for double throw at least).

Edit: light fury with no need to repair/wait to replenish? thats a little strong. Light bolt however would be a good one to do.

noammo doesnt work with double throw? thats strange. hmm, i'll test it my self

damn, well it doesnt work for DT like you said it also doesnt work with multishot, exploding arrow, but it does work with fire and cold arrow, odd

its due to the fact that those skills have a missile attatched to the skill.

Odd that it wont work for exploding arrow though.

Perhaps it would be possible for multishot if you mixed magic arrow and teeth together and replaced the teeth cellfile with arrow/bolt

For double throw you im not sure. I'd have to have a look through the files, I'm not sure if DT has missiles already attatched to it or not. If not then attatching javs to missilea axes to missileb and knives to missilec should do it.

Im not sure exactly if that would work but in theory would. Eth bows would have to be removed or durability loss would have to be added back in if this was to be done (from a balance PoV.)

Dthrow uses what ever missile type you have in whatever hand, so yeah javs for A, knives for B, axes for C

just tried and no luck with it. I could likely find a work around for it but its not something I have time for at the min.

If you can get a jav skill to work with no ammo you could clone that missile and change the cell file to javs. then clone again with cellfile for axes and once more for knives. then use those 3 missiles.

you would maybe have to go into weapons.txt and change the stack column for javs etc. I'm not sure about that though. If would require more testing. I tried a few other things with the missiles but I had no luck.

just tried with lightning bolt and poison jav, no dice... i'm gonna go ask around the modsbylaz forums
