i think toss all the inferno arctic blast oskills but keep the leap boots, bugging your character invincible should get removed but leap is useful.

Actualy, Frostwind could use a Repair dura in x seconds mod. It is a completely worthless unique because dmg is simply not high enough and the lvl req is too high. Make it worth while. Eth frostwind with decent dmg.

Give me some numbers to compare it against other similar swords. At 400% ED it seemed strong, but always good to evaluate it.

eth gf lvl req 90, does 900 1h dmg @ lvl 98 or 99...

perhaps frostwind can have a %ed variation.

I dunno, i've NEVER seen anyone wear Frostwind, in the 7 months of playing HU. Don't add the repair dura mod, all i'm saying is that sword needs a buff..

There's plenty of other things that don't get used too, no need to single out one sword. The reason Frostwind is so unloved is not because it is particularly sub-par, but because for most given types of characters there exists something better. Looking at the stats though, I reckon it suits a Medusadin type char or something along those lines what with the amount of 'Slows target' and 'Hit freezes target' mods on it. It's just that noone's yet made something like that. Leave it long enough and I'm sure Blue or Brevan, or whoever else likes their chars quirky and underpowered, will take up the challenge and Frostwind will have found its home.

oskills can cause problems, like having a constant source or placing a merc on top of any enemy at any time. I could use war on my healer and use those boots to teleport my merc to any point on mf runs as if i were using eni.

I tossed the +2 skills on it to make it more appealing to a Holy Freeze paladin. With the monster 20% slow in addition to the Holy Freeze, it should make for an effective tool. It looks pretty neat in your hand, so bonus for style points. I am sure that there are better options, but it is a decent enough sword. With the 70% IAS on it and the fast base speed [-10] it isn't half bad for a Frostbite druid who wants to go 1H. Toss a shael in there and you will hit the 81% breakpoint with ease to get a 6 frame attack. Combo it with Medusa's Gaze for the best effect in my opinion.

Given that the sword drops like candy later in the game, it seems decent enough aside from lacking +skills - which is why I suggested that.

I was fortunate enough to get an eth version of the sword for my barb merc and it was simply outstanding on him.
