I was thinking about a "remake" of the live realm infos.

I can implement a login form with your current user account on the realm and that user will be ablo to manage the game he is owning. I mean, I create a game, then I log on to the live realm page and now I can kick chars, lock/unlock game etc.

It is also possible to give server or global moderation rights to a single user.

What do you think ?

If the player is trustworthy and isn't a loot whore, egotistical bastard, competitive asshole, etc.

You need someone with morals and respect if you want to place such power in the hands of players.

Sounds pretty good to me. The creator is after all the "owner" of that game. If the others don't like it then they can make a new one. People who abuse this will be dealt with by the comunity, aka, no one will join their games.

Only problem I see is they could be a total ass and kick players just before bosses die etc. if games were moderated by creators. I do like the idea of self modded games, though It could put people off joining a "kill diablo" game etc. and drive people to make solo games just for the moderator rights. Having global game moderators would be good I think. having only 1 would be a pain if people were constantly asking for kicks etc. especialy if the moderator/s are playing at the time. There will always be someone at some point on some server being an ass. It's bad enough moderating games on 1 server with people asking me to kick someone for being afk. then having to message the afk player to make sure the person asking for the kick aint just trying his luck. If someone can be bothered to be a moderator though then great.
I was really for the creator moderating games, after some thinking time on it though, there is a good side and a bad side to it.

The realm account name/names of the moderator/s could be shown in the welcome message of each server if this was implemented. you would need diff timezone players as moderators to make it effective. I have other ideas but tbh, they a little long winded as im pretty baked atm and i just realising i'm babbling on already.

To sum up, I like the idea but finding people willing to do it could be tough

It'd be nice to kick people who join your game to do their own thing or try to carry people through the game (cough higher levels cough).

This is kinda hard to implement.

I was thinking of some users able to moderate the realm with the Live Realm page.

Log on into the live realm page then being able to kick people from games.

Sure, only trusted people can get a chance to have that right, thinking about blue and izron imo.

For European timezone i'd vote Utter and Just-Ice. That should cover most of the playtime between US and European tz

Having realm Moderators would be really neat; however, what if none of them are on?

What about a bot in-game you could send a whisper to or that could monitor chat throughout all games with many public features. One of them being that votekick.
