Hello everyone, I just started playing this mod yesterday and have to say that it's the best thing that could have happened to Diablo II. I would like to start a decent MF character that I can play solo in multiplayer so that I can buff up my other characters. I don't expect to be able to solo bosses in hell, but maybe most of the normal and some of the nightmare would be nice.

I currently have a level 40 Summon Necro. I used to start of with a tornado druid for MFing in the 1.13 original patch and that worked out quite well. However, I don't know if that would work out well here. I was thinking that an assassin would be a good choice but I've never really built a trapsin in my D2 career. Also, what places are good to MF for normal and nightmare? I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

your summon necro is probably the best choice. Pick up an A1 merc and get an eth crossbow on her. With your amp and skeles, she should do fine. You can even "ruin" your character by dumping more than 1 pt in to Amp. Personally, I see nothing wrong with boosting amp a bit since you will use it so often, but some of the purists don't like the idea of the diminishing returns.
