I see posts of people saying the game is a cake walk to Hell and then there are a few rough fights...uh...as far as I can tell, the A4 seal guy on the left - the cold/tornado guy, is not beatable in Nightmare, especially if he spawns with stone skin. I'm playing a frenzy barb and my friend is a jav zon. I get raped even with phys dr, cold abs, and magic resist and then he basically gets 1 shot afterwards. I don't really think it's a gear issue, unless you are supposed to farm act 4 for 3 months hoping to find a few elites to craft? I do 20k/20k damage frenzy with 9k hp, 300+ all resist so no LR effect at level 82 and it means nothing. Tried using elemental jewelry set, ravenfrosts/regas, berserker armor with skulls, stacking phys dr, and all combinations as well as I can with what I have. Ber runes would probably help but those don't drop in A4 NM. I'm starting to think people just make this shit up about soloing the game with a bowzon, no way son. What gear is a frenzy barb supposed to use to fight the A4 cold/tornado guy? And I'm assuming the black balls that fall down on you are magic damage. When he's stone skin, mana burn, can BARELY be leeched even with 40% leech, is amped, and almost 1 shots me, what am I supposed to do? |

if he is stoneskin your supposed to not use phys dmg , if he spawns that and your a phys dmg team your pretty much fupared respawn game and hope for non stoneskin next roll. ber actually drops from a4 nm and on but yeah , what are the chance. |

If he's not stone skin, he can still almost 1 shot me and I can get him down to maybe 40-70% before he combo dumps enough to kill me. |

You'd probably need a hybrid build to solo. I've personally duo'd, in the past, all content on a bone necro+poison zon. |

Was literally the top post in strategy. edit. The answer is you don't solo it. You get a character to a certain power level who can then go back and solo the content. Mostly because of 40% sorbs. |

Did he get changed? I soloed him with hardly a potion frost zealot with CB and 40% lifeleech. He is a pussy compared to the damage diablo does |

Yes, but he has never been too bad. MDR, PDR and DR% is all you ever needed (could use cold absorb, but I never really bothered with him) |
