Since I've never made a Bowzon (ever) in my time playing D2. I wanted to try something new.

Can anyone give me the best skill/stat setups? Like roughly how much I should add to Dex/Vit and the skills to max/put points into. Thanks a ton.

I have one lvl 97.

I maxed multi, guided, decoy, valk. Works great. Put one point into magic arrow to kill phy immmunes.

Gear I use:

Windforce now (after I get some jewels it will be a eth gmb 511%ed)
Glorycrest with 4 wirt jewels
Andarial helm for the succubus amp
Soulmance boots, belt, gloves for ias and 50 all resist boost
Highlords ammy
rings with various attributes (all resists, str/dex, skills)

There are things I could definitely do differently, but she goes through tundra easy enough as long as there are not physical immunes all over. Hope this helps.

It will help me a great deal. Thanks for taking the time to post.

Anyone else have any input?

Would full Mav Set be a good choice as well??

Bowazons are pretty easy and straightforward.
20 GA
20 Multi
20 Valk
20 Decoy

Rest of your points go into:
Strategy for AR
Pierce for piercing attack
Perfection for FHR
Crit for higher crit%
I tree'd up to frozen arrow for a CC.
I also skilled fire arrow(to deal with those PI, CI, Magic resistant monster)

The only real decision is putting points in dodge or not. I chose not to, because all it ever did for me was dodge-lock me. It's not necessary at all, and will more than not get you killed.

Gear:
1-18
Use lvl 8 +10 max jewels in random helm/armor with Arctic set until you hit 18.

18-50
Death gloves/belt
Eth Rogue's bow(nef'd)
Craft a blood helm, use +15 damage jewels
Craft a caster armor, use +15 damage jewels
+max/life/res rings

50-85
Craft a Death Gothic bow or roll a rare one. 4x 20 ias/30ED jewels
Roll an eth rare Crusader bow, and use it until you can use your endgame eth GMB/Hydra bow.
Waterwalks
Razortail -> Nos coil
Atmas -> Highlords
BK rings or blood crafts with health
Kiras with Ums or ias/res jewels
Holy with 4x Uber emeralds

End game
Kiras 4x uber emeralds
Holy 4x uber emeralds
Eth GMB
Con ring
Crafted blood ring
Highlords
Waterwalks(for health) or War Travs(damage)
Crafted 3 passive/20ias/KB/Dex gloves
Nos coil

I run 5 base vit, but you can run as much as you want. I mainly get my health from rings(+500), and armor(+100) in addition to charms(max/life and max/ar/life). Enough strength for gear, mass Dex.

Mav set sucks by the way.

Mavs set is the best a frostzon can use, phys bowa not so much thanks to a non-eth bow etc.

Damn man great guide. I guess I will have to remake though. I added 150 Vit. and started maxing Strafe. I'm like level 75 now. Remaking isn't a problem though I can just rush myself etc. But thanks for taking the time.

I have a question to make--why not put some skills in the avoiding skills?the "lock" thing it means that when you avoid one hit you are stucked in the same place for a little period of time?like 0.5 sec?anyone that can explain the dodje lock thing would be appreciated--also i would like to know about attack rating and its role on HU-.. i noticed that regardless my attack rating --my chance to hit monsters is close to 95% all the time-without putting points in dexterity-so why i need attk .rating??unless if you mean that with the rase of attk rating -automatically i raise something else..

The main problems with the dodge skills is that there are attacks in HU that invisiably (or close to invisible) strike you several times a second. If you invest in the dodge skills, then you can expect to be completly immobilized around any poison-enchanted trash, around Marilith's Volcano attacks, and a couple other things. Basically, melee-ranged zons consider Dodge suicidal, and ranged-attack zons just move out of the way and cheap-shot stuff from across the screen. Pierce skill has no prerequisites, so Dodge skills have little value.

Your chance to hit is 1/2 based on ARating, and 1/2 based on level. Only in late Hell (or some boss monsters before then) will you find monster defence high enough to be a problem. Some more information in this thread.
