 Post subject: Two solo killed by Duriel [help!]

OK.. I've been doing the solo version for quite a while and must say it is quite a challenge. But I have never expected this.

Duriel doing a Leap Attack!

This move has literally trashed my bowazon and meteor sorceress (both 35) causing me to rethink what I should do.

Now, I've noticed PlugY works with the solo edition. Should I change my strategy? Or am I simply not working them the right way?

As far as note goes:

- Bowazon

1> Mercenary is act 2 recovery.
2> Should've I put more than one point in Decoy? (maybe that's why?)

- Meteor-test

1> Should I get a shield with 3-4 sockets and use DR on it, then just stand up to Duriel and fireball/meteor him to death (unless he kills me first?)

diamonds socketed into your helm and armor work for normal pretty well. since you are level 35, the flawless diamonds you can get each give 6 DR and 6MDR. Since damage isnt that high in early normal, flat damage works extremely well. Socket 4 into a helm and 4 into an armor, and you will have 48DR and 48MDR. That will take a big chunk off his damage. If you are still experiencing trouble with high damage from leap attack, do like you said: a couple skulls in the shield will help. Block also helps. Make sure you have enough cold res for his cold counter, and maybe some cold absorb (sapphire in shield) as well. As a sorc though you should have the ability to tele away from leap attack.

Well, I find out that my sorceress got swallowed by a "Bad Header" so I lost my lv.20 orb.. but I have my druid and frenzy barb close. Problem is, they can't even touch the tower giving the mobs before the True Tomb concentrate. Should I give them the MDR+DR treatment? (May have to work up a few FDiamonds and quad sockets)
