I have two decisions in the looming future for my Hammerdin's A1 physical merc:

1. What to socket Buriza with
2. What to socket Hellrack with.

I am inclined to answer both questions with Ko runes for the dex and dmg boost. While I know that things like Ohms or other high %ED jewels might work out, I am not sure they provide THAT much value compared to their rarity and am inclined to save things like that for an eth rolled rare Col xbow.

Any opinions?

what about the % dmg to demons, most things in tundra seem to be demons 4 puls or whatever u quadrouple ur dmg to them, or do two %dmg to undead runes and 2 %dmg to demon runes

thats what i did with my last cc eth rare last season, used 4 puls 400%dmg to demons for running tundra worked great

exactly. no point using up the good stuff in shitty bases. thats like putting a zod in an ethereal blue short sword with only 10ias on it. the damage difference between a 40% ed jewel and a 60% ed jewel in one of those bows will be minimal.

for buriza slap a ko rune for 30 dex

Upgrade the buriza until you can roll a eth rare colossus x-bow. Not sure why you guys seem to think getting ED jewels is hard. Thirty minutes of gambling will easily net you enough jewels to socket a weapon up.

That isn't exactly what I have in mind for spending 30 minutes. Definitely going with a Ko rune rather than sitting at a gamble screen for that long. Anything beyond say 20-30 gambles and I am bored.
