Hello guys. i am a veteran diablo player. I usually dislike mods, due to their inorginality but i thought i give a go this time. And after seeing information on battlenet forums, I started this mod over the weekend, and i loved it so far.

After making so many cookie cutter builds on original diablo 2, i wanted to try out different build.

I made a necromancer, bone necro, i am currently lvl 51 playing solo, and i maxed

20 Teeth
20 Bone Spear
And rest in Bone spirit (will also max)

I put 1 points pre skills to get decriphy. Also i wanted the try out new skill, Death Knight, even though i didn't know i could only spawn 1 >.<

So far this build goes well I am teething my way through everything, and bonespearing bosses. However i had massive problems at bosses like Mephisto and Diablo. Pets die quick and i am left on my own.

So to make this build work in nm and hell i have to decide:

Should I go ahead and max Death Knight and summon mastery after i finish bone skills? Or what other skills should i invest in.? I would like to hear your opinions.

Also i found couple of poison necro gear, but which gear is viable for bone necro?

By the way my only issue with this mod is, levels are very long. I spent more then 1 hour to find hellforge, and i clear areas quick. Can't imagine how long it would take for a melee class >.<

golems are better for boss tanking, you can have all 4 out at once also.

With death knight you need a corpse, thats not usualy possible against bosses. Being able to pull a golem out of thin air makes them alot better for bosses. Remember to make use of the slow effect on clay golem, you should cast decrep and clay golem on boses for maximum slowing.

I personaly prefer Iron golem, he tanks really well and the damage returned can really make an impact against high phys damage bosses (ancients come to mind).

You should probs get a point in the summon blades skill too. you can have 4 of those, along with 4 golems and a death knight as a 1 pointer no problem. For trash, that provides a nice wall to stand behind.

Thanks for the info. Is that mean I can spawn 4 golem at same time??

yeh, max mastery and iron golem, 1 point in the others with a maxed mastery will make them strong enough for trash
