Post subject:  Double Throw speed questions

So I have a new throw barb and it looks like the attack speed is entirely based on your right hand, and then the left hand just immediately throws afterwards. Is this true? I tried testing it with a normal attack speed glaive and a 50% ias throwing axe both in my left hand and my speed didn't change, but if I put that glaive in my right hand, I was slow as balls.

Does the small attack speed you get from Increased Speed really work? Can bumping that to a point of 5-10% push you to another breakpoint like wearing more IAS gear would? ALSO does this speed help WW? I know WW speed is only based on your weapon, but idk about this skill or how it adds in.

Also if anyone knows the ias breakpoints for throw barbs that would be really helpful.

Is crushing blow nerfed for throw barbs like it is for zons?

Thanks for any answers here! :D

The last post in this thread is corect up to a point. There is some subtlety on which one you equip first.

This thread explains the rest. (I couldn't find the original posting that provides a cleaner explanation...google and all other search engines now suck ass at finding things).

Be careful on differentiating between left side and left hand...(right hand is glove side, left hand is boot side, left side is glove side, and right side is boot side i think from a glance).

Main thing, if you don't weapon switch, put the fastest weapon on the boot side. If you reenter a game, die, or weapon switch, take both off, and reequip bootside weapon first.

Due to breakpoints, sometimes it won't change anything, other times you will get a noticeable boost...the more different the weapon speeds then more noticeable the effect is.

This works the same as frenzy, double swing, and dual wielding sins. WW is close to the same but not quite.

This attack speed calculator will help, but notice that weapon speeds are not always the same as on HU, you need to visit the database (under white items) to get those, and then pick a comparable weapon speed on that calculator
