Post subject:  Mercenaries mechanics

i wish to know a little more about mercenary HP, defense skill and stats progression. when i tried to calculate from values (e. g. life) values didnt match.

Was wondering as well, how skills progress. Have mercenaries (hired in norm) the same skill level for chosen skill (prayer etc.) than those hired in hell. both at the same level

some instructions regarding reading mpq files are also desired and wellcome

I think the only difference between mercs at different difficulties other than the obvious extra skill is that the lower they start the more HP they will have at the end. As for the other stuff I have no idea something you'll have to ask one of the smart people about.

Basically the skills are capped to the same level regardless of difficulty hired in. Mercs hired in normal have better stats than those hired in nm/hell.
