So my brother and my friend and I decided to start playing again and we're going HC cause its just way more fun than SC.
I didnt feel like playing a tank barb again so i decided to roll a bone nec
my friend is playing a rabies druid
and my brother is debating on what to make his third char. he started with a pally healer but we dont really have anything for him to heal unless the druid goes tank
would it be best for the druid to tank up and keep the healer, to scrap the healer and have him make a tank (either barb, pally or sin) or have the druid tank, with another dps like a meteor sorc?

thats actually a good party you got there. We did hell dia earlier this ladder with necro/rabies/healer healing the rabies. You probably won't really need the healer though until NM bosses, at which time your blades and summons won't be able to hold the bosses very well and your rabies start taking some heat :)

EDIT: I actually have killed a surprising amount of bosses with hbolts on my maxed Iron Golem, SoB, and thorns from edge rw :)

ok so the rabies was like a rabies tank.
werebear or werewolf?
the problem is our druid is thinking the summons can tank and im just trying to prove a point to him that he needs to tank up and then we're fine. would he then just go
20 creeper
20 rabies
20 oak
20 lyc
1 pt summons
and then max out some feral rage to help him leech?

so feral isn't integral to its survival then? and also for the bone nec, its a 60 point build, 20 more to max a curse, then i can go for golem mastery? but i wont start putting points into that until level 70 something, and is it still worth it at that point?

I don't have much experience with feral on HU. It's hard to leach bosses tho-
https://sites.google.com/site/hudatabase/boss-resists

No need to max Amp as it has a soft progression now so one point is enough, the hard progression on lr is good enough to consider maxing, though. You could go golem mastery... but I would recommend blades.

Werewolf for better recovery and attack animations as well as better FRW. Werewolf also has the benefit of AR to help you land that first rabies.

The build is:

20 creeper
20 rabies
20 oak
20 lyc
1 pt summons

And then I usually max grizzly bear with extra points. If you like options then you can also get 1 pt werebear and down to shockwave for the stun. With +skills it will last long enough at higher levels and the utility is nice in various situations.

well we were. me and the healer didnt play as often as the druid and he got like 15 levels ahead. powered through a3 and a4, though in all honesty i could've solo'd it with the necro albeit a bit slower, got to a4, powered it to rof and did hellforge then went for dinner. came back and d was already spawned and the path cleared to him. went in unprepared, with excessive amounts of lag, bone prisoned and lightning inferno'd to death quite quickly... oh well, back to the drawing board, starting up a 2 man party with my bro since we dont play frequently enough for the druid, now trying to figure that combo out :p
