Hey guys. Working on a bowazon right now.

I want to do physical damage, like Guided Arrow, Multiple Shot, Strafe, etc.

Any tips, builds, or anything like that on here that I can check out?

Do I go with high dexterity for extra damage, or full vitality so I can take some hits, or what? Max Guided Arrow, Multiple Shot, etc.? Not sure I like Strafe... but if it's necessary to max it out, then I can.

Max Multi Strategy Valk Decoy (for valk life) I usually then dump into Magic Arrow (also one point the other passives). Most zons go pure dex. I went 100 Vita then the rest into Dex on my Zon.

As for gear I used BRC 3x Ether Stones Kiras with 4x Thunder Prisms Holy Craft Armor 4x Wirt's War Travs 3 Passive 20 Ias Gloves Nos Coil 2x Con Rings and Maras to max my res out.

Strafe is really useful to use when you have a Named mob and for knockback as only the middle two arrows knockback with multi.

Anyone know why Guided Arrow+pierce was nerfed? Was it to try and put it more on even grounds with Stafe?

Lockdown any reason why you went with some many Ethers in the BRC? No fanaticism merc or just to keep your IAS high incase the merc died(maybe AR?) and or slow? With level 10 fanat(faith) on merc, you only need 80% IAS(give or take a lil) to hit the 7 frame BP.

Personally when I made SC bowzons they were pretty much glasscannon to the max and then some. 100 vita rest dex sounds good.

Helm-Rare or craft with 30dex/30res + 4x Uber emeralds. Maybe Kiras if you want the CBF, personally I find the cold duration reduced so much in hell it doesn't bother me too much.
Armor-Crowcaw 4x Uber emeralds
Boots-Travs
Gloves-Ideally a GG death craft with high dex high IAS. You can hit 50IAS on a perfect roll. Think of some 40+ IAS/20dex gloves, sexy much?
Belt-Razortail, or a nice death craft with dex/IAS if you wanna get fancy. I like LD's Nos coil belt choice as well, if you cannot find any ML from other gear.
Weapon-Eth rare GMB, socket the bitch up with physical facets, maybe a IAS/ED jewel if you can't make up the IAS from off weapon gear. The new BRC looks decent enough though if you don't feel like rolling 1000+ adamants.
Amulet-Rare or power crafted with Dex per lvl and inherit dex. You can hit over 80 dex on the amulet alone with a GG roll(GL though!!) Maras if you aint got the patience for it.
Rings-Power craft rings can get over 35 dex, get some 30dex/res all rings and you're in business. 2x Con is awesome as well. Might even wanna rock a wisp too, the new HoW is great.

I'd try to make up the huge resist gaps with charms, or if you truly wanna go glasscannon 5dex LC that shit up. Enjoy some of the best AoE and single target DPS in the game. Also enjoy dying a lot. Fun build.

I just brand on merc instead of Faith. Thats also prolly one of the reasons why i am socketing 3 x Ethers to :)

That's true. How well is Brand amping for you though, as when you start getting into the 20-30k+ MS damage most shit is dropping before the merc can even amp. Good for boss packs/high phy res mobs I suppose. Any other bowa's wish that old Andy's was around? God what a revive for them.

We tried both faith and brand last ladder on our zons, and decided we like brand the best. Just a matter of preferences mostly i belive.

How was old Andy's? :O

Actually the reason guided + pierce was nerfed was the devastating damage potential. It actually brutally outstripped strafe since a single shot could hit the same target several times easily with 100% pierce. It was for this reason it was nerfed a long time ago on bnet. Whether the arrows continue to pierce against successful defense/blocks is an other matter though.

That amp revive should come back, it was pretty awesome for a couple builds.

15-30% automod on Death glove craft. Gloves can spawn with 20% IAS
rare mod for the full 50%.

Well I am deciding to make a Bowazon BUT HC mode only... She is lvl 71 right now and I am hoping to get her to 85 before mid-week.

Any idea about changes to Zon going HC VS SC...? Obviously not going full-dex build as I would get my ass kicked 1-shot in hell.

What are the chances that she can survive in hell on a HC build?

Holy armor in ancients way is relatively safe with Valk and a Merc and Decoy. Even then I'd prolly still to Lake of the Dead.

Any idea on gear VS what is included? Would you stat differently?

And also what Merc would you use?

I had a crazy idea... not sure if this works... Does Immolation Arrow get synergies? If so... would it be possible to get a Conv Merc and use a bunch of fire pierce gear along with immolation arrow? Then add a Arduals on there for the LR?

Man... i am starting to think deep thoughts here...

Sounds pretty awesome... no?

A lot of people rolled Ele Bowers at the start of Ladder I've never been a big fan. But 2x Eye of Flame and Arduals isn't all that bad. Just really hurts running Tundra as the imps will be annoying as shit.

How is multi-shot and what merc would you use? A3 or more of a tank like i have on HC... An A2 Beast merc... that transforms into wearfolf and PWNS all.

Any other thoughts on the merc deal? I am almost wanting to try the beast a2 merc but not sure that i want to loose all my gear as i would have to strip my HC Druid... Not worth it i think.

I am really getting excited about the thought of multi-arrow + Arduals...

On all of my squishy chartacters I'm going to start testing the A5 Bear merc and see how often it uses Shock Wave in all honesty.

Pretty sure the reason was because it would block lock any class with a shield. Not a very good reason but, whatever.

Should be reverted in HU imo.
