Hate drops everything but 95 items, pretty sure. Griffons dropped twice already for me. Great for starting out if you don't group much. I used 60 points into light traps, lvling shadow master and now finishing off fade.

Hatestorm can be a Boss. Extra Strong, and multiple Shot can ruin anyones day. So, how can I stand in Hatestorms face with a CB Trap without taking damage you ask?

Positioning of your angles. Observe...

Traps only fire in 8 Directions. The North West and North East directions are key to a CB trap doing full DPS to a boss. By simply going up and attacking a boss from these directions, it will place you in perfect position to deal 100% damage of your CB sentries.

So, now that you understand that bit of knowledge. You may run into a problem. Counters. 50 Hits a second, can mean a nasty death. For anyone. But, you're a boss what do you care because your slave said so.

Put that sucka right where you want to stand. The Shadow Master will absorb all damage.

However, this is the tricky part. Hatestorm will teleport things it attacks, so it doesn't always work out. If you've layed your traps and the Shadow Master gets ported you may be toast. So, don't stand there after you're done laying your traps. Unless you got grande nuggets.

Hatestorm would of one shot me the whole fight with a counter, if I slipped. I picked the baddest of the bad from a long generation of Hatestorms. Sometimes hes can be a cupcake. Things to watch for are, Fant, Multi shot and Extra strong. All of which I had going on there.

Also psn aura is pretty dumb too.

I run this boss many time but found only low unique item
how much your mf? I changed gear when he nearly dies I got 500mf

That appears to be hell difficulty Hatestorm kill. General Hatestorm is over level 85 in hell so in the very least he can drop facets.

Well shadow master does get the assassin's claw block which gives them quite a bit of tanking power for their HP.

Cloak of Shadows = 100k+ defense

That's only if the shadow warrior happens to spawn with some good rare armor. A shadow master does not necessarily spawn with high defense armor. It's not even guarenteed that +% enhanced defense will even spawn on a shadow master's/warriors armor.

The defense buff of cloak of shadows is self buff only and shadow master never uses cloak of shadows so it wouldn't get the defense buff. You would have to have it as a selected skill and be using shadow warrior (which probably won't have as good of defense)

hmm swore it was a party buff oh well. Guess not, checked it couple nights ago and a barb told me he was getting over 120k Def from it. Shadow Master can pretty much tank anything but Act End bosses.

Actually Cloak of Shadows has an unusual unique aura filter... It's just the defense buff is put into columns that normally only function as a self buff. Even if Cloak of Shadows did put the normally self buff onto allies it still wouldn't change the fact the odds are that shadow master has no where near the base defense of the assassin casting it.

The aura filter has nothing to do with what the defence side of CoS effects, it control's what enemys the blinding effect will work on.
The skill functions and the fact that a state is applied to the user allow for a self buff, not the aurafilter. Armageddon and hurricane also allow for a self buff.
