I keep doing the socket quest on +5 bows that I find and I keep getting 1 socket every time. Is this luck based or is it capped @ 1? How do you get 5-6 sockets? Im trying to get a +5 Mat Bow with 5 sockets. |

Whites and grey (ethereal) can get 5-6 using soc Q. Magic can get 1-2, rares and uniques get one. Rares can only get 4 max using socketing items iirc. If unique has sockets already you can't add more. |

I'm pretty sure the Larzuk socket quest is ilvl based. So get your item from late nm or hell to ensure all sockets. |

I used a rare eth Mat bow, rerolled multiple times, I used the socket quest on it 3 times. All 1 socket. The other one I bought from a vendor in A2 Hell, and still one socket. Was magic blue quality.
