Hi, I simply can't kill duriel with Sorc on lightning spec with a merc with damage aura. Both of us are quite well equiped (me and the merc). Is there a specific strategy on doing this ? We are level 36. It dosent kill me too easy , but the merc can't last alot without Great healing potions or rejuvenate potions. What should i do ? |

First of all act bosses get atleast a 4x damage bonus against mercs and summons. Mercs aren't supposed to tank the act bosses to be honest. If you play on server you should find someone to team up with. |

Collect full hsarus set (+2 skills, defiance aura) from grisword in a1travi, try to farm gold(leo in a1travi near church) for diamonds and use them in your merc armor/head any item white blue or rare just with most sockets. I presume you're playing 1.21 solo so you can't cast frozen armor on your merc ;/ too bad. He should have enough defense (around 3000) and pdr to survive duriels hits. I tanked him with my cold sorc(defiance aura + frozen aura + diamonds in gear) no prob, his smite attacks will hurt tho. |
