Hello, I am in the process of building a MA Assassin, but I can't decide between Dragon Claw, or Dragon Tail. I see most people talking about DTail, but DClaw damage seems much higher, and I have Death Sentry for any AoE I need. The other question I have is where my points should go (Other than one pointers, 20 Fade, 20 Tiger Strike, and 20 Dragon X) Any gear recommendations would be awesome as well.

Dragon Claw is more of a straight forward beat down skill (which I wouldn't be surprised if it mixed better with venom than tiger strike). Dragon Tail is more of a charge big AOE nuke and unleash the devastation. There is one tricky note about Dragon Tail though. The amount of fire damage it creates for the fire explosion is directly porportional to the physical kick damage actually inflicted. So if you target a physical immune with dragon tail you won't generate any fire damage since you obviously can't inflict physical damage to a physical immune. |

for a dclaw sin max: dclaw (must) claw mastery (must) fade (must) 5pt claw block (for me, its a must) 1pt blade shield (must) cloak of shadow sentry or venom this is a awesome tank build, great dmg itself w/o any charge-up skill, tiger charge its a very bad idea for this build since you waste many hits and precious time while charging, and then release 1 powerful single target attack. This is a great bosskiller build, one of the bests. Dtail its an aoe build, with really high damage when combinated with tiger charge, very fun and good if you are not really experimented with MA sins, not as great like dclaw for bosses, but still ok. dtail for me would go: dtail (must) tiger charge (must) fade (must) shadow master deah sentry as for the stat pts, i always 50 50 xxx 5, but thats me, it could be around 100str and be fine. thats my 2 cens '-' |
