Post subject:  druid questions (ss)

so im currently working on a fury druid, a few new things arising... firstly fury is limited to 4 hits now? could have sword it used to be 5.... secondly, bear hits faster? i morphed to bear and was mauling away happily, then when i went to wolf he seemed to be attacking slower (even with fury).

another question, do you guys know what the breakpoints are for weapon ias for wolf? i understand its weapon only ias that counts, but also the ias provided from wolf form (also fanta) is classified as weapon ias.

ive found this based on wolf (standard)
WIAS Frames pro Angriff Angriffe pro Sekunde
0 % 23 1
5 % 21 1.1
9 % 20 1.2
11 % 19 1.3
15 % 18 1.3
17 % 17 1.4
23 % 16 1.5
24 % 15 1.6
32 % 13 1.9
41 % 12 2
50 % 11 2.2
52 % 10 2.5
65 % 9 2.7
81 % 8 3.1
95 % 7 3.5
105 % 6 4.1

is that still correct for hu? and it states fury can get down to 4 frames hittin 6.2 times/second, correct again? if so that opens up my weapon options alot more.

any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks. (p.s. 1st melee druid in a lonnnnng time)

Bear is often a touch faster in their animation and that allows them to sometimes hit a breakpoint before the wolf does. I think that as you get close to the end points it doesnt matter too much though.

The most accurate calculator I have found is this one:
http://home.comcast.net/~thedragoon/wer ... anced.html

It allows you to manually enter in the wpn speed values which is important because some have changed since b.net. Here is a list of 1h and 2h wpn speeds in HU:

In general, 2h wpns will be a bit faster for fury than 1h wpns after the calculations are done. You will want to choose the WIAS breakpoints table. Fanat is classified as OIAS for fury (I think)

Fury can get down to 3 frames. 4 frame is very easy with the skull craft even down at lvl31 (shael or ias jewels). Then later you can reach 3 frames with the higher skull crafts, ik maul, reaver, etc.

I even have a thundermaul craft with 173ias that does 5/3/3/3 fury (first hit takes 5 frames, next three hits are 3 frame). Reaver is 4/3/3/3 and ik maul is 4/3/3/3 with 153ias.

Crafts are the weapon of choice for most of a were's life. Most of the uniques and sets are too slow.

Maul can actually get to 1 frame with ~450% IAS (on a maul)? Muwahahaa. A 3 frame attack was easy and 2 required the right wep. How might I make it go to 1 frame...

hey guys, are the calculators incorrect regarding fury, or is feral rage/maul both faster then it?

when i have feral at 3frames, it seems fury is 4/3/3/3 (thus being slower) or is it incorrect as its HU and it should be 3/2/2/2....that seems too fast though.

i like the way the IAS on wofl works, gives me a far greater choice of weapons over the fuzzy wuzzy's.

EDIT - ok so at the same breakpoints fury looks to be 1 frame slower at the start, the other thing is, the next breakpoint is far easier to attain for feral/maul (only 40ias vs. 100ias). bummer.
