| Post subject: | What is the best merc for a healer? |
Anybody have a preference or experience they'd like to share? I'm open to changing my merc and starting from scratch if need be For the moment, I went with PmP's advice and got myself a magic merc from act 3. Currently level 92 but is clearing up to act 2 pretty well in hell. Dies almost instantly in act 4 and 5. End gear I'm thinking: elemental set immortal flesh soul drainers crafted boots griffons wizspike spirit ward shield glassgare armor i believe resist will be covered with the fade from the shield and of course since i'm a healer, he will probably never die. |

If you maxed Conviction (like most Healers should), you really can't beat Act 3 Cold or Lightning. Lightning is overall better for trash, but A3 with Blizz can take down sub-bosses easily and contributes great damage to Champs/Uniques or other stronger mobs. I've seen A1 geared for Fire damage instead of physical do well. You'd probably want to roll w/ a Faith Javelin (so you can still run Conviction) to get the most out of her though. |
