I just recently got into rolling rares. I've never been a huge fan of using them but I have been rolling a eth xbow and wanted to get an opinion by someone who understands the mechanics. First of all since every roll is random does that mean theoretically you have a 0.001% chance of getting 511% ed? How have peoples success been rolling rares here btw? I ended up getting a 511 but it had no ias and IAS/ED jewels are virtually non-existant on HC so back to rolling I go. It probably took 700-800 rolls to hit 511 once. I've lost motivation to keep rolling though... very tedious and boring. |

I've only rerolled one item wich was a rare eth flying axe and it took me about 8-10 rolls and I got like ~460 ed wich was good enough for me at least |

Yup I remember in 2005 that's what I did I had a rare zerk top end damage was over 1.1k with all the jewels in it at the end. |

I thought phase blade has no durability mods so it can't be eth. That's how it was in LOD atleast. |

Nah Phase Blades have dura on here. Also I like how Zerker's look if I really wanted to go all the way sword I wouldn't use a Phase Blade I'd use a CB for the extra range. |

last season i wasted A LOT of time and gold trying to roll an eth tmaul. i never got higher then like 400ed. this season i've wasted A LOT of time and gold trying to roll an eth zerker with no luck and now i'm trying to roll an eth tmaul. needless to say i'm looking for 450+ed and i've yet to even get over 400ed. i must have the worst luck because over the past couple seasons i've never been able to roll one of these things. its very irritating. |
