Greetings there I recently returned to the mod lured in by the patch notes that said increased hydra sorc candy. I was like: (^_^) I made the bear-bones hydra sorc template in game (1 warmth, bout 15 pt fire bolt and 1 pt teleport ) and then started to look around the forum about hydra sorc play impressions. I found a post stating a questionable hydra nerf/not nerf/but still nerf/but buff/but nerf ( viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2608&start=20 ) and I was like: (-_-) So, are there any hydra sorcs out there now? how is killing power in the hell levels compared to a meteor sorc for trash/boss? Is hydra sorc merely a weaker Enchant biotch later on ? |

heres mine just after nm baal. her gear is garbage but she does great. With an act 1 fire merc chanted you rarely need hydras for trashing. They are decent on bosses as long as you plant them away from the rest of the team. Anything with dflight as a counter gets totally screwed over as they just dflight the hydras for the whole flight  http://blue.arimyth.com/images/84HC-hyd ... rerage.jpg |

How bout solo killing of some lesser bosses and trash with some fire immune mixed in? I'd imagine the teleporting A1 fire/chanted merc strategy falls short on that |

sub bosses are pretty easy, they are too slow to keep up with teleporting, just don't teleport with your merc if your up against tobial or amon as they wil dflight your merc and nail you in the process |

use client side edits, left click teleport is also useful |

viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2565 if you have the charscreen edit already, extract the one above to your desktop and remove the folder "local" from it before moving to your HU folder. The char screen one has a more up to date local folder and the one in that topic above will overwrite it and make your char screen added stats say "an evil force" |
