There are a couple slots I'm unsure of for my Poison Javazon. She's 89 in act 2 of hell, doing about 110k plague javs, current gear setup is as follow.

Head - Valk wing (have griffon diad waiting)
Neck - Maras
Shield - Stormchaser
Armor - Crafted +2 all -12% enemy psn res (socketed with uber 2x uber diamond and rubies)
Boots - Silkweave
Rings - SOJ and rare +1 (Not having much luck crafting so far)
Belt - 20% psn dmg craft (No +skiller yet)
Hands - Soul Drainer
And of course a +3/+2 Jav

I've been saving up gul runes, but I'm not sure sure what kind of shield to put them into. Is it possible to get +skillers on a crafted?

And I'm also unsure about what my next boot upgrades are.
And the armor is pretty nice, but can I do better?

Any tips are appreciated!

roll rare +3 jav gloves, wep get titans or t stroke, cant craft skills on shield for zon, belt cant have + skills only -/+psn % and other mods.

craft caster boots you can get +1all /+ passive/magic up to 3+.put a gul in your shield if u want. gather glyphs for a zaka amulet you can google locations, head griffons or rare+2 all quad socket with whatever is pretty good

rings craft ms topaz +1 zon +%psn dmg rings

I'd also switch over to an Ormus until you get/can equip a templars.

Pretty sure a +10% poison damage ring(no skills) will add more damage than a random +1 ring.

Neck should be changed to a zak amulet, refer the blue's information website for more information if you don't know what it is.

Yeah I got a zak ammy, but it turned out +1, so I need to farm another, no biggie.

And I have been crafting ms topaz rings, just haven't had a real decent one yet. Still haven't seen the unique dusk shroud either, gonna be farming for it tonight though.

Another choice is to craft an ele craft armor. Using a DS, for example could get 2 skills, passive pieces and will yield 4 socs.

Which is essentially what he has said he's using.

I have an ormus, I think, that you can have.

Nice, yeah just got done farming for quite a few hours in act 1 + 2 with no luck, gonna hit the sack now, but I'll be on tomorrow, can whisper me *Mypocketshurt, thanks dude.

And yeah, I'm using a crafted ele armor now with +2 and pierce.

Going to have to disagree, ormus is far better, 16% vs -12% it's easy to decide what to go for. Plus pierce is much easier to get either way, and the two stats(pierce and % increase) increase proportionally to eachother.

If you do 1000 and mob has 80% poison res you do 200 damage only then:
16% from ormus boost your damage to 232
-12% from topaz craft boost your damage to 320
Ormus would be better only if mob had 0%psn res.
-res > +%skill on nm/hell. Best is to aim for 60+ pierce, then go for max %skill.

If you do 1,000 to a mob with 80% resistance you deal 200 damage.

Any good player is going to have -30 pierce from their weapon and -20 from their belt, both easy to get and simple to farm.

This means instead of dealing attacking a mob with 80% resistance you'll be attacking a mob with 30% resistance. This means dealing 700 damage.

An extra 12% pierce yields 120 extra damage or 820 total damage.

16% increase in damage brings your total damage up to 1160, reduced by 30% it's 812.

You might go, well fuck I'm right, well this isn't the case. Ormus has resistances, which go a long way on newer players, but that aside you're forgetting that Ormus has twice the pierce through cloak of shadows.

1,000->1,160 80% resistance, reduced by 75 brings the resistance to 5% yielding a damage of 1,102.

Damage is substantially increased, and charges are plentiful and easily replaced via smith runes(which you carry anyways because of javs), and the duration of the debuff is long enough to warrant using against boss and troublesome mobs.

Most monsters in the game don't have 80% pierce either way, and bosses are generally around 40-60.

note that cloak of shadows does not work on most, if not all, bosses and some trash mobs.

Crafts can get 4 sockets while ormus 1, res can be a problem if you except to get a better armor than uniqs in a single try.

I don't get that part at all. + Mobs on hell have 50-99% poison res. There are few mobs that don't have any.

Tundra mobs, for example, almost none of them have poison immunity or resistance at all.
Succubus - 0
Blood lords - 0
Gremlins - 0
Ice spawns - 0

You sure?
Succubus - 66
Overseers - 90
Siege beasts - 99
There are also death maulers with 75% poison res.
Gremlins and spawns have 0, indeed.

Succubus have zero res, they're not succubus they're stygian whatevers.
Seers do have 90, Siege do have 99.

According to monstats.txt StygianFury(478) has 33/50/66(norm/nm/hell)%psn res, just like every succubus-like monster.

i also prefer topaz craft mostly due to the 4 sockets. dmg for a plague javver seems less of an issues then hp's. 4 ss/ms/uber rubies ftw, Cloak of shadows is a pain in the ass as well. don't get to see what's ahead of you.

but as far as gear goes

head - griffs 4 rubies
amulet - zak
jav - purchased -> t-stroke (emeralds)
armor - topaz craft -> templars 4 rubies
gloves - soul drainers (prefer the all skills for valk/decoy/bo over 3 jav craft)
belt - topaz craft (made a 20 fhr, +20%,-20% 29 str belt myself)
boots - aim for amethyst craft w/ 1 all skill 3 passive/magic
rings - wisp (for oak) and topaz craft w/ zon skill
shield - hhg (2 pois facets)

use a cta off hand w/ dragon or hhg shield for nice hp and a fatty decoy.
i use charms myself to make up for missing res.
