The safest build is with maul mastery- IK barb. You can choose spears but that requires putting some points into dex and double the amount in str along with vita. Axes aren't good for WW as they're low range, swords could be ok. IMHO it's just a matter of your choice. There's nothing like the best here, spears for example have the best range but average damage is lower than with mauls - difference between min and max damage is noticable, you can stabilize it with +min damage jewels... etc. etc. |

I would like to try like 2 one hand weapons with ww, I think that would be cool, could it kill just as good as a maul or spear barb tho? |

check out the other thread about WW, there's lots of good info: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=3122 My preference is polearm, just cuz its fuckin badass. I build characters based on breakpoints - so I try to hit the fastest IAS on my WW with the longest range (ofc with high dmg and low frw). You can achieve this with only spears and polearms (the range) I think |

Dualwielding grandfathers due to the +max damage mechanic being so powerful when on a 1 hand weapon. The only thing it lacks is crushing blow, but you get two sockets so I supposed you could ber them both, not that you're actually going to deal any damage to anything in hell other than trash. They automatically hit the fastest breakpoint anyways, so no need to gem any attack speed. Dual wielding does more damage than using a single weapon. |
