Post subject:  Diablo Personal Targeting Preference
Ok so the big question is why does diablo allways targets me or most of the time anyway.

I asked that question when i was playing barb, so people answered:
" It targets the player with the lowest base vita "
so i was like hmm ok that makes sense , because casters have very high base vita in this way they can cast something and not run all over the place. But thats bullshit.

I had the big surprise of tanking diablo as a sorc today when the only players where me(sorc) and a barbarian(with much lower base vitality). Now youl say " bah ur sorc sucks she has low base vita" wrong she has very high base vitality. In that game targeting was not random i was 100% of the time the targeted one. After 10 minuts we killed him. Sorceress was Hydra.

So another question comes in mind.

What is the real targetting preference of diablo ?

I believe he runs for chars with low base hp(not buffed by bo or inc stamina etc) as he always runs for Druids(I used it many times to lure him into safe kill spot), then barbs(you put more into str early leaving your base hp at low). Try to get ES sorc near him :-)

Casters/ranged chars lure monsters with their attack - attackrank - so if you attack him it's obvious he will run for you, otherwise he would just run lowest hp to finish off fast.
MA on zons is attackrank8, and Telekinesis is attackrank 10, try to check if he will run for zon or sorc if you use on of these skills.
